**UPDATED 16/2/11**

Just a quick update, i found a great online store that sells wooden grid boxes (similar to what i store my jewelry in) that also ships world wide. They have amazing prices!

Take a look here: http://www.ok-charms.com/wholesale-wood-grid-box-for-jewelry-5-x-635mm-long24mm-widthjbp0-p-2533.html?zenid=b5dh6a4u688tr1vldt66pkqpt2

Hi Guys, i feel like it's been such a long time since i last posted something, i have been really unmotivated lately with a bunch of different (minor) illnesses. This is just going to be a small post with a haul and a few storage ideas. Hope you are all well and had a fantastic Valentines Day, i need some suggestions for up an coming posts so please comment xx

I know a lot of you probably aren't familiar with Diva, it's an accessories store here in Australia which is quite similar to Accessorize in the UK. There prices range from affordable to sort of outrageous (for the quality) and i tend to only really shop there when i can nab up a bargain. About 2 weeks ago now they had a fantastic sale where you can pick any 4 items on the "sale" display for just $10.00!!

I bought a few cue little items:

So i was super happy to pick up so many versatile accessories for so cheap! I've already gotten so much usage out of the silver/black spiral earrings. And did you catch the Sydney Evan "Love" dupe for only $1.00?????? I'm in love.

A few quick and cheap storage ideas:
This is my little jewelry area in my bedroom, i had some spare space next to my walk in robe on top of a dresser and just picked up a few cheap storage items.
I am pretty proud of myself for my first idea, i bought this cheap but really cute necklace rack from the discount store (cost me $2) but haven't been able to use it as most of my necklaces are just way to long. I was trying to find a way to store large dangley earrings and as the rack was just sitting there all empty it just made sense! I hang about 2-3 pairs per hook and it makes a really chic and beautiful display piece and earring are now super easy to find in a hurry!

My absolute favourite storage item.... i picked up this clothes hook from sportsgirl before Christmas for a bargain $10! I love the idea of using coat/clothes hook for hanging necklaces, it's so cheap and also makes a beautiful display item. You can find all different types of designs depending on your style/decor or even make your own with some cheap looks and some ply wood. I've mounted on the wall with thumb tacks so it's extremely easy to install and remove when needed.

Now for all my "precious" jewels i picked up this really inexpensive jewelry box from a local jeweler, it was around $25, and store things like rings, bracelets etc in the top grid. Grids are excellent for jewelry because they really utilize the space and allow you to store each item separately while preventing them from tangling.

I keep all my oversized rings in the top draw and a missmash of keep sakes in the bottom.

Finally i have a lot of chuncky bangles and large beady or very long necklaces that really needed a home, i had them all stored in just little storage boxes but it was impossible to find anything. I found this storage rack/device at diva and it was $14.95 but i've seen in a lot of places since (target, storage world, junk shop etc) and it's perfect because as you can see it has a variety of different sized plastic sections with zippers to keep everything in nicely and a row of hooks all along the bottom. It has a handy coat hanger at the top so you can store it in a closet or like what i do on the back of your door.

I have all my bangles in this bigger clear section which makes everything really easy to find.

Oh and i should mention this device can also be used easily for travel, it has ties of the back part so you can just roll it up and go.

I hope you liked my small storage tips, if you have any ideas on how i can improve my storage i'd love to hear, it seems like i am always re-organising something lol. Look forward to a new giveaway coming up soon!

Love you all xx
